Oh how I miss you, I miss hearing your laughter, your voice, seeing your sweet smile. How I wish I had some more time with you. I got back from Florida last night and felt like I had left you there. I felt like I was closer to you there because I was In your house where you were when you died, was with your mom and Andy, saw your sunflowers , visited with Paul, saw yours and Andy’s garden, saw your fish, went to the beach where you loved to be, even went fishing like you loved to do. But I know that you are not there, you are in a much better place and for that I am happy for you. But oh so sad for us. Your abuelito used to say “don’t cry for the person that dies, they are in their glory with GOD; cry for us who loved, and are left behind,” and that is so true. We are grieving your loss, and it hurts so much.
I Love you so much, my hito, and even though you’re a grown man you will always be my hito.
