My deepest sympathy goes out to Christine, Leo's two girls and all the family. Children are a precious gift from God. We don't know how long God has lent them to us and it is heartbreaking when God takes them home to be with Him in Heaven. Leo is at rest and has found life everlasting. BUT, it leaves a huge hole in all the lives of those who knew and loved him. May God grant all of you acceptance, comfort, peace and reassurance that Leo is now with God. May he grant you strength to carry on as Leo would have you do. Looking forward, we will all be reunited one day with our loved ones. I feel deeply that they are all around us trying to let us know that they are at rest and no longer suffering. One of my favorite scriptures is Eccl. Chapter 3 where God tells us there is a time to live, and a time to die....Why do young people die? We will only know when we meet them again to spend eternity with them, it is our hope and our faith that will carry us until then. I spent some time talking to Dianne tonight, to Leona on Facebook who shared the addresses and number necessary for me to reach out and send you my thoughts and prayers. God bless you and keep you, May He surround you with angels keeping you safe and free from harm. Eternal Rest grant unto Leo Gonzales and let perpetual light shine upon. Thanks to Margo who let me know. I will definitely be home if the memorial is held in mid July and we will see you there. I love you Christina and look forward to seeing you at this sad time...
